Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes has an enduring appeal. The original stories, especially the early ones, are beyond compare, but I’m one of many writers who has enjoyed the challenge of writing Holmesian pastiches. The first was written for Mike Ashley’s often reprinted anthology The Mammoth Book of New Sherlock Holmes Adventures and I’ve subsequently contributed pastiches to the late lamented magazine Sherlock, edited by Holmes expert David Stuart Davis, and for Strand Magazine (not the original magazine with this title, but an enjoyable American publication, edited by Andrew Gulli.)
